He still has his solid damage base, and now he is eaisly your best option for delaying in recovery phase. Need to take him into the Weald or Ruins? Grab Guard Dog and Lick Wounds or Guard Dog and Blackjack and stick him in rank 2. While at low resolve it's not as consistent as I would like, once you get past resolve 3 he can reliably heal 12-20 stress a turn for your party. He's the second-best stress healer in the game, second only to the jester, thanks the Cry Havoc.

He's built for marking parties, but even if he's your only marker that -prot is extremely juicy, and hound's rush hits hard. (That said, I always recommend bringing Hound's Rush and Target whistle) He's stupidly flexible and fits in almost any party. Being able to guard a hero on death’s door can be a lifesaver if your healer can’t act for whatever reason, and Bellow is the best debuff in the game (want to make sure every enemy moves before your entire team next round? Bellow will destroy their SPD and make them easier to hit, which is pretty great) plus, the MaA has a stun and riposte if nothing else, and although he’s not the best at doing either, it’s nice to have both on a single character. MaA is definitely not as strong as the Abomination, but he’s the only real tank in the game and although stress > hp in this game, there are moments where a MaA shines really well. And of course, if you include his CoM trinket he’s definitely the best single target stunner in the game, even beating out the plague doctor. (His HP and SPD are both fantastic and for a stunner that high SPD is essential.) And even without CoM he has some of the best class specific trinkets in the game (the padlock that increases stun and blight chance by 20% is fantastic and there’s another that increases his already high SPD by 3 and DMG by 10% for only a minor -10% max HP, which isn’t too big of a deal considering his HP is high anyway). Even if you solely use Abomination as a stun bot without his CoM trinket he’s still fairly good just because he has seriously good stats. That said, she's flexible enough to be put anywhere on the team and with any team comp.Honestly I would rate MaA and Abomination higher. She's weak on purpose because she makes you bonus money.

He has no right being anywhere near the bottom of the list.Īntiquarian: Kind of belongs in her own category. Leper: The most rigid hero in the game, but powerful without question. Shadowfade-Lunge is good, but it's all she's really got besides Darts being situationally useful. She counters basically everything, has a high damage armor piercing move, is effective from any position, offers up blight on top of her already high damage, is extremely fast, and has some insane trinkets. Shieldbreaker: A hero bordering on overpowered (some would argue that she is). There is no justifiable reason for her to not be at the top of the list. She's fast, has high damage, a two-target stun, one of the most potentially powerful heals in the game, has excellent trinkets, and is effective in any zone. Plague Doctor: Top tier, this is not up for debate.

This lad is top of the line without question. well, mark comps, obviously, he has one of the best single-target stuns in the game, he has a pull, and he has a corpse clear. He can heal from anywhere so he works with dance comps, his mark works in. Occultist: One of the most effective classes in the entire game. His only weakness to speak of is skeletons and gargoyles, but even then it's not much of a concern.Ībomination: Depends upon whether or not you have his Color of Madness trinket.Īrb/ Musk: Very reliant upon mark, but a very powerful specialist. Besides Lance, he has basically no synergies besides being religious, and is most prized for his camp skills.įlagellant: So obscenely powerful that he has to be limited to one per team. He's really not that important besides Vvulf and DD#2īounty Hunter: Flexible enough to work in most teams, but you really want him with markers.Ĭrusader: Very rigid without Holy Lance. Houndmaster: Much less useful without a marker unless you run him up front for his Blackjack. Hellion: Only good in rigid comps which are vulnerable to enemy movement abilities
